The Scottish Qualifications Authority is Scotland's national awarding and accreditation body.

We are trusted to oversee thousands of qualifications that are available in schools, colleges and workplaces, not just in this country, but around the world.

We are looking for an Administrator to work within the Qualification Portfolio Management team.

  • Support projects by scheduling meetings, preparing papers and accurately extracting/recording actions to be circulated within agreed timescales
  • Provide support for budget preparation and monitoring, such as purchase order processing, to ensure all procedures are adhered to
  • Maintain project documentation and monitor version control by acting as the configuration librarian.
Additionally you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Provide complex diary management support in order to ensure the optimal use of staff's time.
  • Focus on continuous improvement in relation to administrative processes to contribute towards the overall success of the team
  • Be able to operate Microsoft Office packages at the appropriate level for this role


Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level
6 (ideally in an administrative related discipline) and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
