My client based in the outskirts of Newport is seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager to join its team.

My client is an SME business turning over in the

region of £30 million per year.

The role will predominantly manage the day to day of the finance team and its members, will be ensure the production of accurate and timely transactional accounts work is provided.

Reporting into the Financial Director of the business, the main duties of the role will include Management of the finance team of - Overseeing of Sales and Purchase Ledger functions

Production of balance sheet reconciliations
Production of accruals and prepayments
Production of Management Accounts up to TB stage
Dealing with VAT returns
General bookkeeping services
Credit Control
Preparation of financial reports
Assist with budget and forecasting
Ad hoc duties as and when required
Occasional general office management duties

This role will be suitable for a AAT studier / qualified or a QBE.

The role will be entirely office based and will involve the management of 3 long-standing team members.
