CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Procurement Manager to join a diagnostics company at their site in Goddards Green near Burgess Hill, West Sussex on a contract basis for 6 months.

Working location Burgess Hill. This role is hybrid 1-2 days in the office.

Salary:

Daily £550 - £570 per day LTD/UMB

Senior Procurement Manager Role:

Facilitate the delivery of highquality services and commercial value in the products and services procured
Support achievement of procurement KPI's including savings, demand management and stakeholder satisfaction
Enhance third party relationships through robust SRM, utilising supplier segmentation, market insights and data
Review internal and external processes to drive further optimisation and development of the procurement excellence
Lead development and delivery of category plan(s) for indirect procurement categories

Your Background:

Degree/postgraduate qualification (or equiv) (Business or Biochemistry advantageous)
MCIPS and Masters degree in Procurement/Supply Chain Management a plus
Demonstrable procurement experience within indirect categories
You will have strong negotiation and influencing skills
Full understanding of category management principles and extensive experience of sourcing processes (RFI's, RFP's)
