Purpose of role:
Main responsibilities include:
- Managing the delivery of payroll for two UK weekly and two UK monthly payrolls with all related month end duties.
- Liaise with external providers in ROI & Internationally to deliver payroll each month
- Production of P11Ds and all associated reporting.
- Reporting as required on various metrics i.e. absence
- Assisting HR with pay and benefits projects as required i.e. NMW reviews
- Liaising with finance, the wider operations teams to ensure delivery of payroll.
- Act as a point of contact for all payroll related queries from employees and external parties
- Complete pension reporting and payments each month/week to the various pension providers
- In conjunction with HR support on various benefits arrangements to include pensions, private medical, salary sacrifice arrangements, life insurance and employee share schemes.
- Any other duties as reasonably required
Essential Criteria:
You should be able to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:
- 2 years experience with UK payroll
- Sound knowledge of payroll and good practice, and evidence of maintaining uptodate knowledge of same
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build constructive working relationships with all levels in an organisation
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with an ability to demonstrate sound judgment
- Strong attention to detail
- Results driven with sound business judgment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure
- Strong IT Skills including experience in the use of payroll systems with extracting reports, maintaining information and development of current systems to meet business requirements
Desirable Criteria:
Although not essential, ideally you should possess the following attributes:
- Experience of Sage payroll
- Experience with delivery of international payrolls
- Payroll qualification
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months

£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
