We have an exciting opportunity to join our Money Advice Team at Citizens Advice Darlington, Redcar and Cleveland working from our centrally located offices in Darlington or Redcar.

Our Money Advice Team is hardworking, dynamic, client focused with a track record of delivering high quality advice.

We are seeking to appoint an accredited Debt Advice Caseworker who will be able to support & empower clients; negotiate with creditors on their behalf.

Assess the best strategies / options to support clients' debt issues, providing budgeting advice; looking at ways to maximise income.

Providing a holistic advice service, facilitating clients to access support in any other areas of advice which they need.

You will need to demonstrate recent or ongoing experience in delivering debt advice to a high standard, including:

Managing a challenging caseload
Well organised
Selfmotivated
Excellent communication skills
A good understanding of general advice work.
