We have an excellent opportunity for a
Chauffeur/Civic Support Officer, in the York area and we are seeking to fill this post at the earliest opportunity.

This is a
casual position, and the selected applicant will work on a flexible basis, as and when required. Each shift will last a minimum of 4 hours with 2 weeks' notice of the driving schedule. Please note, event times will vary and will involve some late finishes.

Main duties:

To contribute towards detailed preparations in connection with escorting arrangements to official engagements.
To drive prestigious clients to and from engagements and to remain in attendance when necessary.
To assist in ensuring that transport arrangements are satisfactory so that arrival/departure times can be met.
To ensure that the vehicle is maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition at all times, is available for use whenever required and any defects are reported. This includes undertaking weekly tyre pressure, water and oil checks.
To report any faults to services and buildings and to ensure that the accommodation is secure.
To undertake administrative tasks associated with the client as and when required.

Required skills and attributes:

Experience driving a limousine is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Ability to manage one owns time effectively and multitask
Professionalism, punctuality and reliability
