Description

Gloucestershire College is recruiting Lecturer to join their 'Quayside Centre' based at Alexandra Warehouse in Gloucester. Within this role, you will teach a variety of learners of which some may have anxiety, SEND needs, mental health support needs or have missed large amounts of education due to hospitalisation.

The purpose of this role

is to create individualised learning opportunities focused on the learner's destination. This will include liaison with other vocational departments to organise individual transition and project-based activities, as well as supporting learners to gain greater independence and employability skills through links with employers and community-based initiatives. Within the lecturer role, you will lead on the maths curriculum, teaching several functional skills classes a week.
