Accountable and responsible for the day to day execution of analytical and support related tasks relating to the Sore Throat category team workload or Analytical laboratory, as defined by the Sore Throat team Senior Associate or Analytical Laboratory Manager/Deputy.

The Analytical Associate is responsible for ensuring that they deliver their output effectively and efficiently in compliance with current Good Laboratory practice thereby providing continuous support to project requirements within the Reckitt business.


Your responsibilities:


  • Lead project and nonproject activities to ensure the continued success of the Reckitt product portfolio.
  • Manage the preparation of technical documentation for regulatory submissions in healthcare categories.
  • Ensure timely and standardcompliant execution of project milestones.
  • Provide guidance and, where applicable, leadership to team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Support the wider R & D Operations department with audit preparations and maintenance activities.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance compliance and efficiency within the team.
  • The day to day prioritisation and organisation of own and others workload to ensure that project requirements and stakeholder needs are met.
  • To ensure that relevant data is checked, approved, recorded and available for inspection in accordance with Good Manufacturing & Good Laboratory Practices.
  • To understand and follow all necessary Health & Safety systems and ensure that all work is consistent with safe working practices, including reports.
  • To ensure individual activities are synchronised with those of the wider Sore Throat team and analytical laboratory.
  • To communicate issues effectively and appropriately to ensure timely resolution with all relevant parties whilst maintaining the positive image of Reckitt and the Sore throat team.
  • Ensuring audit readiness is maintained. Ability to construct/interpret statistical data sets, i.e. for shelf life prediction, Design of experiments.
  • Manage 3rd parties' analytical activities with preferred suppliers/project managers.

The experience we're looking for:


  • Degree level qualification and / or relevant and appropriate demonstrable skills & experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of HPLC
  • Line Management experience preferred
  • Experience of working within an analytical environment/laboratory
  • Demonstrable skills in working within a multilevel team environment.
  • Competency in project management and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team of people.
  • Experience of GMP/ISO9001 in FMCG/Healthcare/chemical environment
  • Adherence to COSHH/Health and Safety at Work act, directly and indirectly through team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for leading, inspiring, and collaborating with a team.
  • A resultsfocused approach, ready to evaluate and embrace calculated risks for innovation.
  • Flexibility and accountability with a knack for challenging the status quo and driving improvements.
