Personal Care Assistant Required in Knutsford, WA16

20-28 hours per week (additional hours available also)

Days & times to be discussed at interview.

£16 per hour

This role is to support & supervise a young man to achieve things he finds difficult without help & to enable this young man to build a good, friendly relationship with his PA.

This client enjoys a variety of hobbies & activities, such as:
Golf, Personal training (Gym) - required supervising.

Playing pool, Playing darts, Board games - Scrabble / Bingo, Reading books, Watching films, Using his iPad, Walking his dog.

This young man would like a PA who shares similar interests and can support him with his hobbies both within the home and outside of the home.

Main Duties

Supervision with all domestic/social activities - It will be the PA's responsibility to ensure that this client is always safe and is not at any risk when completing any activity.

To accompany this client to his voluntary work placement.

Domestic tasks around the house as and when require such as general housework, tidying & laundry/ironing.

Offering support, prompting encouraging and supervising is a main part of this role.

Occasional sleepovers are required (Paid at a different rate - will be discussed at interview)

PA Required to attend day trips and go on holiday with Family to support this client whilst away - You will not be required to drive to destinations, it will involve going along with the family to provide supervision and support (This will be discussed at interview in more detail)

The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; I may on occasions reasonably request additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home.

Personal Assistant Specification
My assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable, must respect my privacy and maintain my dignity at all times.

My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.

You must be able to work well independently.

My personal assistance must have had covid vaccine and booster.

Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Supervision
My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work.
They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
