Description

The Innovation Partnerships Team work with external clients from global brands Unilever and the BBC to local organisations Kingston First and Royal Borough of Kingston as well as providing content for Kingston University's internal departments from animations to videos and graphic design.

We identify and manage opportunities for students and graduates to gain valuable work experience on projects before they graduate.

From product designers to artists and digital producers we've helped them realise their value in an evolving creative industry and championed their skills, as well as driving new projects Not My Beautiful House and Studio KT1.

In this role you will provide support and the delivery of these initiatives as well as promoting opportunities to students and graduates.


The Person:

The post holder needs to have a good understanding of the creative industries, working with students and/ or graduates.

You will need to be able to manage your own workload and prioritise as well as having excellent communication skills.

You'll need to work across a number of platforms to help onboard and manage students and get to grips with the universities processes and procedures, as well as current employment regulations.


Directorate/Function:


The Directorate's role is to provide guidance and support for learning, enhance the employability of our students, promote access, participation and inclusion, offer students the right development opportunities for them and support all student activities through collating and utilising survey data.

Our activities are student-centred and developed in conjunction with staff and students. Together we provide expert advice, guidance and initiatives that supports course teams to improve teaching quality.

Our careers and employability function helps students acquire professional experience and be ready to hit the ground running when starting their careers.

As a Directorate, we are service-oriented, honest and collaborative and use evidence-based approaches.

We take a whole life cycle approach to student success to help improve student outcomes for students of all backgrounds.


Further information:

This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £32,271 per annum.

Interviews are expected to be held on Monday 4th September 2023.
