The Governors of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Engineering College wish to appoint a full-time Chaplain who will work with students, staff, parents, Governors and local clergy to promote and maintain the Catholic ethos and Spiritual values of our School.

We are looking for an inspirational individual who will make a significant contribution to the faith journey of our School Community.

Our Lady Queen of Peace is on a journey of rapid improvement working to deliver a good education for all of our young people within a caring Catholic Community where all are known and valued.

Our Mission Statement is 'In Christ we grow'. As a learning community, we live out our Mission Statement striving for excellence through caring, sharing and achieving.

Essential Qualifications

  • GCSE qualifications/equivalent in Maths and English
Be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Christian Theology and the Bible.
Desirable Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification or on the job training, e.g. in youth work, Christian ministry, education
Essential Experience

  • Practising catholic who is confident and resilient in their faith
Supportive of the vision and values of the Catholic Church and our college ethosDesirable Experience

  • Experience of working with students in a Catholic setting
  • Experience of leading a broad range of Catholic worship
  • Experience of contemporary youth culture.
