Credit Risk Analytics and Strategy Manager

London

£80,000 + Equity
A Strategy Analyst with experience working in Lending, Credit Risk or Collections.

You'll need to be used to working with data to drive insights and strategy changes in a fin-tech, big bank or challenger FS environment.

You won't be held back by red tapeas it's a flat, fluid-structure with huge opportunities for advancement and have an impact on a growing business with a unique proposition on the market.


Later, you'll grow out the Risk Strategy team so this is very much the role of a future leader in the business.

Reporting into the Head of Lending Strategy and Analytics, you'll have full ownership over the performance of the Existing Customer Strategy function.

It's a relaxed, collaborative office filled with bright minds who'll encourage you to run with your own ideas and analysis, present to senior stakeholders and develop and optimise ExistingCustomer Credit Risk and Collections strategies across an innovative suite of retail credit products.


ROLE:


  • Build out best in class process for decisioning for existing customers including credit line increase, cross sell propositions, collections, recoveries and debt sale strategies
  • Collate, manipulate and analyse data to provide commercial insights and enhance collectibility of impaired assets
  • Manage endtoend strategic initiatives relating to Collections and Recoveries
  • Own major projects focusing on collections policies and control
  • Development of new reporting systems and system optimisation
  • Forecasting collections performance vs. budget and linking these against key operational metrics

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Numerate University degree from a Russell Group University
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset
  • Strong coding experience, preferably in SAS but alternatively in SQL, R, Python
  • Experience in a similar role within Collections strategy or Credit Risk strategy
