Leicestershire area


Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to individuals in their own homes? We are currently seeking dedicated Home Care Support Workers to join our team.

In this role, you will provide essential care and support to service users, fostering their independence and enhancing their quality of life.


Requirements:


  • Ability to provide personal care to both male and female clients
  • Own transport is desirable but not essential
  • Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided

Salary:
£11.44-£12.50 per hour depending on experience


Purpose of Position:


As a Home Care Support Worker, your primary goal is to enable individuals to remain in the community, ensuring they are supported and safe in their own homes.

You will promote their independence and individuality while collaborating with other care workers and professionals to deliver comprehensive care.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Visit designated service users as directed by the Care Coordinator and management
  • Remain vigilant for signs of distress or changes in health, promptly reporting any concerns
  • Conduct all tasks with respect for the privacy, dignity, and value of each user
  • Assist with mobility, including getting in and out of bed and chairs
  • Aid in dressing and grooming, as well as caring for personal equipment
  • Support with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, shaving, and feeding

Social Duties:


  • Encourage service users to participate in daily activities according to their capabilities
  • Foster personal connections through meaningful conversation and active listening
  • Collaborate with informal carers, other agencies, and professionals as needed to provide comprehensive support

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
£11.44-£12.50 per hour
