THE OPPORTUNITY

Forklift Truck Driver


There is a large emphasis on safety and you will be expected to act responsibly and in strict accordance with the company safety policy.

To be considered for this role, you must have relevant experience and be a disciplined and focused individual with high levels of concentration.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a first class operational customer service within agreed service levels.
  • Transport and distribute stock and load and unload deliveries as directed.
  • Deliver accurate loads to internal customers on time and in full to the right quality standard.
  • Record the movement and delivery of stock by appropriate means.
  • Take responsibility for equipment and complete daily inspections and report concerns through correct procedures.
  • Actively promote a Safety First culture.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A valid forklift truck license is essential.
  • Disciplined and good selfawareness.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic operational environment is preferred.
  • Full UK driving license is essential
