About the role:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to support students in their learning journey.

You will assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, providing support to individuals or groups of students as needed.

You will also be responsible for creating and updating individualized learning plans and assisting with the tracking of student progress.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of the curriculum
Supporting children's learning, progress and wellbeing
Encouraging children to become independent learners
Developing positive relationships with children and parents
Supporting the teacher with classroom management

Requirements:

Level 3 or equivalent qualification with recent experience of working within a school (within the last 2 years)
Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities
Have a flexible and friendly approach
Be committed to providing engaging and exciting learning opportunities
Have a DBS on the update service or be prepared to request one via ourselves.
