19 hours per week, for 38 weeks per year. INSET days are paid in addition

The core hours of this job are 11.45pm to 09.15am
Wednesday and Thursday. Term time only.

Parkwood Hall is a residential and day school for pupils aged 8-19 years with moderate to severe learning difficulties and other complex needs including autism and language difficulties.

We need a new WNA to join an existing team. You will be required to work with the students to assist with activities and social and personal skills. Some personal care support may be needed. The duties include night-time working to ensure the safeguarding and safety of our students overnight. Experience of working with children or young people is highly desirable.

Experience of working with children or young people is desirable but a 'can do attitude' and positive approach are essential.

It is highly desirable that applicants hold a relevant qualification at NVQ level 3 otherwise you will be expected to begin working towards such a qualification within 3 months of starting work at Parkwood Hall School.
