Staff selection have recently partnered with a family run manufacturing company based in the Huddersfield who are currently looking for a carpet tufter to join their ever-growing team

The Role:

Safe operation of carpet tufting machinery and equipment in line with company operating procedures to make excellent quality products.
Ensure all products are manufactured to specification.
Help maintain a safe working environment by having a proactive approach to safety and housekeeping.
Ensure all equipment defects are reported and logged, via the team leader, onto the company maintenance system.
Have good team working, a 'can do' attitude and a willingness to work flexibly
To always work in a professional manner and comply with the company's policy and procedures.

What we need from you:

Experience in a similar role
Good communication skills
Good time management skills
An ability to work on your own initiative.
The ability to adapt to changes and work under pressure.
To work well as a part of a team and communicate with other workers.
Positive, "can do" attitude is crucial.
Very good level of written and spoken English is essential.
Computer literate

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday Friday

Salary:

£12.92ph
