Are you a creative thinker with a passion for producing engaging and effective communications that cut through the noise? We are looking for an experienced and talented content producer to help us take our communications to the next level, driving forward and creating innovative content to promote the work of the Council and to tell the story of West Lancashire as a great place to live, work, visit and invest.

You will have demonstratable experience in a number of disciplines including
managing social media channels, video and photography
(pre and post production) and graphic design, with excellent up-to-date knowledge of the software needed to create them.

You will understand how to maximise the reach of our channels,
have experience of SEO and be able produce effective and engaging internal and stakeholder communications while being comfortable in a fast-moving, complex environment with a political dimension.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills and
enjoy being a key part of a committed Communications and Marketing team that supports a diverse range of Council services, while meeting the expected behavioural standards of the Council.

You will also have a 'customer-focussed'
and sensitive approach with a strong instinct for how our communications will be received.
