Goleudy is a charity that prevents homelessness by providing housing, creating opportunities, and tackling poverty and social exclusion.
Our job is to improve the lives of people who are threatened with, or experience homelessness, a housing crisis, or mental health (MH) issues and trauma.
We have been operating for 47 years and cover 4 local authority areas.Our approach to supporting staff is compassionate and flexible, and we take pride in the friendly, strong team ethos in all of our projects
About the Clerk to the Board of Trustees
The Clerk to the Board will provide advice and guidance to the CEO and Board of Trustees on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.
the charity's board and its subcommittees by providing:
- Administrative and organisational support
- Guidance to ensure that the board works in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework
- Advice on procedural matters relating to the operation of the board

Duties of the Clerk to the Board of Trustees
The Clerk to the Board of Trustees will:
- Plan the Board meetings and subcommittee meetings
- Ensure that each meeting has minutes
- Ensure that board matters are dealt with
- Manage board information and meeting papers
- Liaise with regulatory bodies as required
Required Skills for the Clerk to the Board of Trustees
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Competent IT user
- Knowledgeable and experienced in trustee, governance, and charity matters
- Developed stakeholder/partner relationship management skills
- Financial literacy
- Good planning skills

Part-time hours: 7 per week

£6,484.00 per year
