Teaching Assistant | Behaviour Mentor | Mainstream Primary School | Immediate Start | Tower Hamlets

Teaching Assistant required for a mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets to start as soon as possible.

The role will involve working 1:1 with a child in lower KS2 who is on the autistic spectrum and presenting with some mild behaviour difficulties that disrupt the class

1:1 role to start immediately and continue for the whole academic year
Firm but fair approach required for setting boundaries
Work with a fantastic SENCO and class teacher
Excellent transport links to the school

This role would suit somebody who has 1:1 experience working with KS2 children with behaviour difficulties. The child is not aggressive but can have melt downs and disrupt the class

We are looking for someone who can bring to the role techniques for managing challenging behaviour and deescalating outbursts so that the child can progress with learning.
