GAC UK is looking for an Agency Services Coordinator to join our GOAS Team based in Aberdeen. Could it be you?


The Global Offshore Agency Services (GOAS) team is an account management team which prioritises and looks after all of GAC regional key accounts in the offshore industry and provides port agency solutions to its key customers globally.

The Agency Services Coordinator is tasked with looking after specific accounts and managing same both within the UK and regionally for port call and project requirements.


Reporting to the GOAS team Operations Manager, the principle role of this position is to provide operational and account management support to existing customers in support of global operations whilst assisting the manager in extending the business to potential new customers.

Such support will involve working very closely with all internal company divisions (Finance, Logistics, Bunker Fuels, and Ship Agency etc.) to coordinate vessel port calls and projects.

This role will include both operational and administrative support as required.


The key responsibilities are:

  • Setting up port call operations for customers, including issuing port agency appointments and negotiating rates with suppliers.
  • Monitoring and assessing supplier performance levels during the course of operations.
  • Ensuring that any customer commercial and operational agreements and contracts are adhered to at all times during the course of operations.
  • Supporting customer cost management processes and supplier invoice checking & processing.
  • Supporting customer project or port call requirements globally utilising the supplier network.
  • Coordinating customer PO management and assisting credit control processes for all GOAS customers.
  • Assisting with promoting & selling of GAC services when liaising and managing customer requirements.
  • Attend customer review meetings as required to assess GAC performance.
  • Travelling for customer sales calls or CRM meetings
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Ability to produce and maintain accurate documents
  • Good understanding and appreciation of a proactive safety culture
  • Experience using Microsoft office products
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A desire to continually improve
