We're delighted to be recruiting a Membership & Sales Manager for Cake & HR, a community focused, membership group for HR leaders to knowledge share, network and discuss current topics or challenges
- with the all important element of cake


This newly created role will be integral in the co-ordination, development and growth of this talented network of HR professionals across the UK.

Excitingly, the variety in this role spans from sales, customer service, administration, social media and marketing.

Currently operating regionally, but with big growth plans the Membership & Sales Manager will:

  • Launch and development of Cake & HR across new locations
  • Researching and contacting individuals and businesses that may be interested in membership
  • Managing content and social media platforms
  • Using Linkedin and other resources to grow followers of the "Cake & HR" company page
  • Contacting prospective connections over the phone to promote the benefits of membership
  • Managing the website forum with content and responses to posts
  • Sending calendar invites
  • Sourcing and securing HR speakers for events
  • Attending Cake & HR events, including helping with the setup of events and
co-ordination of logistics

  • Venue administration including maintaining an up to date calendar of bookings
  • Any other tasks which will assist the smooth running of Cake & HR events.


We're looking to hear from individuals who are confident promoting and selling memberships to prospective customers and that also have some social media/marketing experience.

The successful person will need to work autonomously, be organised, pro-active and generate new ideas.


Location:
Girton, Cambridgeshire


Hours:
Monday-Friday - Part-time (minimum 20-25 hours per week - more
also considered)


Salary:
Up to £30,000 per annum (FTE) + commission
