About You

Here's what you'll be doing:


Assist the Company Secretary with all duties, including:

  • Making arrangements for Board and Board Committee meetings
  • Attending meetings and drafting minutes
  • Maintaining action lists for matters arising from meetings and chasing up those with outstanding actions
  • Dealing with shareholder matters, including allotment of shares and shareholder resolutions
  • Maintaining up to date records of directors' interests
  • Updating the Corporate Governance Manual, including the Terms of Reference of the Board
  • Assisting with annual assessments of the performance of the Board and its various committees
  • Carrying out research for the Company Secretary, particularly on company law and best practice
  • Assisting with corporate governance issues.

Here's what we are looking for ideally:

  • Some company secretarial experience
  • Good organisational skills
  • An understanding of company law and practice (but you do not need to be a qualified lawyer)
  • The confidence to deal with the most senior people in Kroo
  • Flexibility, as the responsibilities are broad and require someone who can respond quickly to the requirements of the directors
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

You'll have an advantage if you:

  • A qualification in company secretarial or corporate governance work
  • Have experience of using automated packages to deliver company secretarial solutions

About Our Process:

We can be flexible with the structure of our interview process if someone's circumstances or timescales require it but our general structure is:

  • People screen interview
  • 30 mins
  • Technical interview challenge with the hiring manager 45 mins
  • Culture champion interview
  • 30 mins
  • Head of division interview 45 mins
