The Chief Financial Officer's (CFO) team vision is "to become a forward thinking, inclusive CFO Team consistently offering excellent service delivery, uncompromising on quality, delivering value and ensuring the financial sustainability of the University"


The CFO has recently launched a new organisation structure, which has presented an opportunity for 3 high profile, business centric Senior Finance Business Partner roles to join the team.

These roles will lead high performing teams of 3 -4 and oversee the financial performance of the University. They will be a trusted finance partner for the Faculties and Directorates on all Finance matters

We are looking for individuals who pride themselves in building high performing teams.

Communicate skilfully with ability to distil complex, technical concepts into clear concise outputs and have a forward-looking outlook that proactively provides decision support, and critical friend approach.

These roles are pivotal to ensuring the financial sustainability of the implementation of the strategy.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Finance performance management supporting senior management to developing 5 year financial plan, forecasting, providing strategic advice across core financial disciplines including capital, research, revenue, cost, and contribution
  • Business Partnering owning the relationship with Faculties and Directorate on behalf of Finance and working collaboratively on cost saving, revenue optimisation and strategic initiatives
  • Leadership & development creating an inclusive and diverse environment to lead a high performing team delivery high quality and excellent service delivery
