Description
About you

Are you skilled in supporting networks and telephony structures in complex organisations?

Are you looking for a technical leadership role that also allows you to get your hands dirty and try out new ideas?

Do you want a job that gives you a buzz knowing the work you do really matters and makes a difference to patient care?

Could you be the one to help us design the future of digital technology here at Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust?

This is a key role within our team.

In short, you and your small team will manage, maintain and monitor the essential systems without which we couldn't function as a Trust - our telephony and networks and of course cyber security.

Everything hinges on these cornerstones.

Big on attention to detail, you understand the importance of care when it comes to working on live systems, but at the same time, you're a person who's able to think big, innovate and approach challenges with curiosity and a desire to find solutions.

Likely from a network engineering background, you'll be one of those people who loves to play around with tech, learning, and adapting.

You'll also be someone who wants a job that allows you to make a difference in the lives of others and get that sense of satisfaction from knowing your skills, knowledge and hard work are being used well.

We're on an exciting journey as a team right now, as we move from a conventional IMST function, to something more encompassing.

There's a huge appetite from the senior leadership team for us to step up to the plate. We have the brief, we have the desire, we need your skills to help us deliver our ambitions.
