I am recruiting for a
Service Manager for one of my closest
London based clients, a fantastic charity who are an incredible company to work for.

As the manager, you'll manage several services in the
Hammersmith and Fulham area with the responsibility for leading teams to provide support to adults with Learning Disabilities and associated needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an amazing charitable provider and continue to invaluable support the service provides.

Key Responsibilities of a Service Manager:

  • Work in a consistent and positive way with managers and other team members to ensure people always receive a great service from the whole team. Ensure all organisation policies and specific agreed ways of working in the service are followed.
  • Actively lead the team's development by coaching and training colleagues in person centred support practices, appraisals, and supervision, giving and acting on received feedback; management of risks of the individual(s) they support through understandingwhat is important to the individual(s), involving their families, wherever possible, and ensuring decisions are accurately recorded.
  • Build great relationships with the people we support and the people important in their lives
  • Actively lead the team's development by coaching and training colleagues in person centred support practices, appraisals, and supervision, giving and acting on received feedback
  • Manage overall key work with individual(s) developing their support plan through the referral, assessment, and review stages.
  • Be responsible for the performance and delivery of the support contract(s) within the cluster.

Service tough ManagerRequirements:


  • A proven track record as a CQC Service manager within Learning Disabilities and autism adult services
  • An experience of inspiring and motivating staff to provide personalised support and safeguard vulnerable individuals from abuse
  • Able to provide leadership and support the team through change, driving performance and improving compliance and the quality of support
  • Able to assess new referrals under time pressure and produce person centred risk management plans
