Key responsibilities:


  • Oversee day to day operations
  • Set policies and processes
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • General overview of costs, maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Ensure staff follow health and safety regulations
  • Quality assurance

Requirements and skills:


  • Organisational leadership experience (Essential)
  • Knowledge of local authority and NHS/CCG/CHC funding as well as private market (Essential)
  • Experience in HR management (Essential)
  • Estates and facilities management experience (Essential)
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations (Essential)
  • Relevant qualification or recent experience
  • Demonstrable track record in a care home environment (Essential)
  • Experience managing medium to large organisations
  • Accounting background would be beneficial
