A construction client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting an Administrator to join their team.

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm and paying up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience.


Supporting the day to day running of the Commercial department, your key duties in this Administrator role will include but are not limited to:

  • Taking messages on behalf of team members distribute in a timely manner.
  • Assist in secretarial duties for the team, including audio typing, word processing and the use of excel spreadsheets.
  • Issuing correspondence and updates to subcontractors and suppliers (including recording and collating responses).
  • Updating databases; raising orders and collating health & safety documentation.
  • Compiling reports from information obtained by commercial team.
  • Accurately maintain trackers always ensuring data accuracy.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience within a busy office environment


  • Computer literate

  • Proficient within the Microsoft packages
  • Highly organised
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous admin and secretarial experience
  • Construction industry experience or similar beneficial
  • Be able to multitask and work to targets
