A construction client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting an Administrator to join their team.
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm and paying up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience.
Supporting the day to day running of the Commercial department, your key duties in this Administrator role will include but are not limited to:
- Taking messages on behalf of team members distribute in a timely manner.
- Assist in secretarial duties for the team, including audio typing, word processing and the use of excel spreadsheets.
- Issuing correspondence and updates to subcontractors and suppliers (including recording and collating responses).
- Updating databases; raising orders and collating health & safety documentation.
- Compiling reports from information obtained by commercial team.
- Accurately maintain trackers always ensuring data accuracy.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience within a busy office environment
- Computer literate
- Proficient within the Microsoft packages
- Highly organised
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous admin and secretarial experience
- Construction industry experience or similar beneficial
- Be able to multitask and work to targets
