We are re-hiring for
FULL TIME Relief Service Delivery Driver in our
AINTREE SITE

In this role you will:

Receive a company induction and also receive full training for the role.

Need to be very flexible with start and finish times.

Normally only be required to work Monday to Friday 8 hrs per day. Overtime payable at time and a half.

Combine elements of driving with physically dropping of and collection clean workwear from our customers sites.

Enjoy meeting a variety of customers in many types of industry.

Complete other Ad hoc duties as required of the role.

Will need to comply with transport industry legal structure and have excellent customer service skills.

Receive a monthly Salary :

From £23,530.00 per year + bonus's including weekly meal allowance £ accident free bonus £68.11 per month + relief rate of £19.30 per week (if cover relief role).

General Information:

The majority of routes are started between 4am and 6am, but occasionally, to accommodate timed deliveries, sometimes slightly earlier.

The vans would need to be collected from the yard each morning as they are not allowed to be taken home.

The process is to deliver clean workwear to our customers and to collect used workwear from their site, then return all items for washing at our Industrial sized laundry.

The relief driver role is essential to our successful operations. It supports the transport manager in covering customer service routes throughout the North West and North Wales when the regular driver is on holiday or not able to work

New starter performance will be monitored over a 3-month trial period and if no issues a full time permanent contract will then be issued.

All new contracts are offered with 30 days annual leave per year; Bank Holidays, are a normal working day, and if available to take - a day's holiday would have to be used.

Uniform and waterproofs provided after satisfactory period of 4 weeks.

Clean workwear is dropped off in 5kg bags, 15kg hamper sacks, or wheeling a full cage into customers premises.

Some carrying of lighter loads will be required up and down stairs.

Geographical Route Information:

The average driving time per route is around 2- 4 hours and the remaining time is utilised dropping and collecting the workwear so would suit someone physically capable.

Manchester Depot service area is from Winsford to Preston, West of the Pennines to Warrington and also North Wales.

The Aintree service area also helps to cover Mid to North Wales, Anglesey, Liverpool and along the A580 corridor.

On average, each route services between 20 and 30 customer locations per day, (dependant on time on site) and the majority of routes can be completed in an 8hr shift.

Multi-drop Delivery driver experience: 1 year (required)

7.5 tonne driving: 1 year (required)
