This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in Merton's new Family Hub initiative based at Phipps Bridge Youth Centre.


About the role:


In this role you will:


Develop the existing youth offer and work in partnership with colleagues from the Youth Service, Early Help and Youth Justice Teams, as well as local partners to coordinate the daytime and weekend provision.


About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills including the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Good customer service skills and committed to good customer care
  • Good understanding and knowledge of children and young people's issues and needs
  • Ability to communicate with others across a wide age and ability range, and from diverse backgrounds
  • Level 4 in Youth & Community or other relevant professional qualification. Or willing to successfully enrol and complete a Level 6 Youth Work apprenticeship.
