The Role:

Based in our Glasgow Head Office, an excellent opportunity has arisen in our IT Department for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to be responsible for growing, managing and optimising cloud infrastructure while ensuring its security and performance.

The role holder will collaborate with the team to optimise systems transitioning to Azure and will be part of the team responsible for the design and implementation of the cloud infrastructure.

They will manage, monitor and secure GAP's cloud infrastructure, ensuring the protection of company data.

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

A minimum of 3 years' experience working with an Azure Infrastructure role
Proven knowledge of Azure AD, AWS, Powershell, InfrastructureasaService (laas) and Softwareasaservice (Saas).
Experience of Azure Networking (Virtual LAN, Garetways, ipsec VPn, expressroute to mpls), Azure Network Policies, Azure migration planning, storage and backup, Azure Ops, Security and Architecture.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to remain calm during busy periods and meet tight deadlines
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication skills.
