Estates Services manages Oxford's 450 buildings that are used for academic purposes, as well as its commercial, agricultural and residential property portfolios and green spaces around the city including the University Parks and Wytham Woods.

We are seeking an experienced communication professional to join our Communications team, creating and proofreading engaging materials for various teams in Estates Services across various communication channels.


You will have experience in digital communications, including managing web content to meet accessibility standards and creating and launching electronic newsletters.

A keen eye for detail and a creative approach to communications is essential.

This role suits someone with experience in various disciplines, including web content creation, digital marketing and communications.

About the Role


As a Communications Officer, you will work with various teams within Estates Service to provide high-quality and engaging materials for different communication channels.

You will join our friendly and supportive Communications team at Estates Services, reporting to the Communications Manager.

You will be responsible for creating and proofreading web and digital communication materials to meet accessibility requirements, supporting internal events and generating engagement reports and addressing website changes.


About You

You will have excellent communication skills and be confident in communicating clearly, politely and professionally with members of our senior management team and staff in general.

You will also have a positive attitude, a flexible and adaptable approach, and be comfortable when priorities suddenly need to change.
