Description
We're looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has the ability to work independently and collaboratively.The Assistant will be working directly with students with special needs and will be responsible for helping them with everyday activities such as classroom tasks, personal hygiene and meal preparation in addition to academic tasks.
The Assistant will also be required to work closely with the teachers and facilitate communication between students, parents and the school staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the classroom with noninstructional duties such as grading tests and papers, organizing student files, preparing packets for classroom activities.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract, Graduate
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 32 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Supplemental pay types:
- Loyalty bonus
