An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Dietetic services within the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre in University Hospital Llandough (UHL) as a Band 6 dietitian.

The post holder will work alongside a large multidisciplinary team which includes consultants, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, pharmacists, social worker, research staff, and administrative staff.


The post holder will be a clinician demonstrating a keen interest in the area, bringing a background of key clinical skills in gastroenterology, chronic disease management or respiratory on which to build their knowledge base.

Support will be provided by the team to enhance your management of this highly specialist clinical caseload of Cystic Fibrosis patients requiring complex nutritional and dietetic support using evidence based patient centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate dietetic interventions in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.


The post holder will be part of the current CF dietetic team and contribute to the wider development of the CF dietetic service.

They will act as an advocate for patients on their nutritional management through attendance of multi-disciplinary team meetings, case conferences, audits, educational meetings, specialist group meetings and quality and safety meetings.
