Our client is a leading specialist media company, who work with over 60 market
- leading brands in the consumer and B2B markets across UK, US, Asia, India and Germany.

They connect people and communities across digital, print, festivals, awards, conferences and exhibitions


They are now looking for a junior
Editorial Assistant based in Milton Keynes to support a group of Editors through copy-editing and article building.


Working across multiple clients, particular from the automotive industry, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly, from monitoring accurate, engaging and SEO friendly content is produced whilst with the audience and client's needs in mind.


This is a brilliant opportunity for a junior editor or existing editorial assistant, keen to develop not only their writing but editing skills whilst working in a fast paced, corporate environment.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity, offering flexible hybrid working (3 days a week from their Milton Keynes based office) and a basic salary up to £24k


Responsibilities:


  • Day to day management of the content hub, ensuring that the site runs smoothly, with content accuracy, engagement and SEO as a priority
  • Ensuring content is in the most effective medium, long form or short form text, infographics, video, audio even looking at polls, forms and quizzes
  • This is a highly collaborative role, and you'll be working with stakeholders across the entire business

The Person:

  • A degree in journalism or English, or equivalent
  • Experience with B2B or B2C digital publishing digital comms for brands would be preferable, however working on a hightraffic news site would be just as beneficial.
  • An interest in financial journalism would be desirable
  • Confidence to work in a client facing, highly collaborative corporate environment
  • Excellent knowledge of CMS's and SEO
