About the role?_
Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Workshop Manager, you will be required to ensure work flows efficiently and meets productivity requirements through the distribution of daily duties and the motivation of the team.
Key responsibilities of the Role:_
- To support the Workshop Manager and Supervisor to ensure all jobs are carried out promptly, correctly and effectively.
- To direct, support and motivate the team to enhance performance.
- To support the Workshop Manager in assessing workflows and the utilisation of staff to maximise efficiencies.
- To supervise day to day work ensuring that quality standards are met by providing relevant training and guidance for subordinate
- Drive productivity through the workshop to achieve the maximum utilisation and output.
- To ensure all paperwork is completed, updated and files appropriately.
- Execute Health and Safety regulations focusing on accident prevention.
- To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.
- 2x shift rotation pattern:_ _6am2pm & 2pm10pm (Monday-Friday) _
About you?_
- You must hold a Valid Driving Licence with less than 6 penalty points and no DR10 offences for an insurance purpose
- Must be competent in Vehicle Paint Spraying and SMART working, with at least two years' experience
OR Be competent in Prepping / Strip & Fitting Vehicles ith at least two years' experience - Fully conversant with Health & Safety, relating to the workshop roles and equipment used.
