Station Reception Officer:

Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Sutton


Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions currently has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Station Reception Officer to join their operational team at Sutton Police Station.

This is a permanent full-time shift based position working 5 days on, 3 days off, 10 hour shifts including a 45 minute unpaid break.


Shift pattern is as follows:


2x earlies - 06:30-16:30

2x lates 13:30-23:30

1x night 21:30-06:30

The role:


  • Reports to Facilities & Services Manager
  • Providing an efficient first point of contact for members of the public
  • Answer calls promptly and clearly before rerouting callers accordingly
  • Operate computer systems accurately to record enquires
  • Receive and administer property
  • To be responsible for the security, safety and tidiness of the station reception areas
  • Working an average of 40 hours per week on a 5 on 3 off shift pattern, 10 hour shifts, earlies, lates and nights.
  • May be required to provide occasional cover at other sites within SE London

The person:


  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a good standard of written/spoken English
  • Diligent customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Subject to security vetting by the Metropolitan Police
