Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a
Fleet Administrator to join our
A&TS business unit to work in
Derby.

**
Role Purpose


This role will be required to work cross functionally across the Service Desk, Operations teams, delivering aspects of Operational Fleet support.


What you'll be doing
As a
Fleet Administrator, your main accountabilities will be as follows:

  • Efficient sourcing of external short-term hire vehicles typically generated by gaps in the core fleet availability resulting from (but not limited to); breakdowns, extended downtime and short duration additional requirements.
  • Accurately capture and monitor through to resolution HGV Helpdesk
- incidents, working closely with the wider operations team to minimise
- downtime and maximise customer satisfaction.

  • Develop relationships with the Customer and provide them with regular reporting relevant to the Service Desk function.
  • Provide prompt resolution to any disputes raised by the Customer, liaising with all relevant parties to reach an agreed outcome. Ensuring ongoing records are amended to reduce the risk of repeat.
  • Ensure that records are maintained in compliance with the processes outlined within the Balfour Beatty Business Management System
  • Support the Fleet Operations Manager
  • Service with supply chain management including attendance at planned Operational review meeting's
  • Consistently review processes and procedures to ensure efficiency through daily operations; proactively suggest improvements to processes where inefficiencies are identified to ensure continuous improvement and enable lean working practices.
