There is an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic senior associate to join an Amlaw 100 Firm's Bank Regulatory and Transnational Practice Group in Washington D.C.


The firm is seeking a senior associate, who has at least 6 years of experience in transactional banking law, with a working knowledge of IPOs, mergers, asset sales, private placements, and banking regulations.

The firm are looking for an attorney who will assume immediate responsibility, lead on transactions and work with other more junior attorneys in aspects of due diligence, negotiating and drafting.


Their clients range from community banks and savings institutions to money-center financial institutions and include FinTech and finance companies, credit unions, credit card issuers, leasing companies, speciality finance lenders, trust companies, industrial loan companies, mortgage originators, and insurance companies.


  • Knowledge of Federal Reserve Board's Bank Holding Company Rules, the FDIC's Issuance of Accounts Regulations, OCC powers and de novo chartering regulations.
  • Knowledge of CFPB guidance and rules.
- effective writing, communication, drafting, project management skills.

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
Key Duties

  • Advising board of directors on corporate governance matters.
  • Drafting corporate government documents and negotiate and draft merger agreements.
  • Analysing banking rules and policies.
  • Drafting securities filings.
  • Manage full life cycle of projects.
