Futures are seeking to appoint an Electronics Development Engineer to provide engineer support for our client's electronics engineering team.

As Electronics Development Engineer you will have a technological qualification, experience of building, testingand debugging electronic hardware, excellent written communication skills to produce documentation and a "go the extra mile" attitude to proactively support the electronic design engineering team.

You'll be joining a long established business recognised asa best-in-class manufacturer with an excellent track record of developing their own people, including lots of internal promotion opportunities.

Electronics Development Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Electronics / Hardware / BOM / Test Engineer / Design / Electrical & Electronic / Testing

Produce and maintain technically accurate and illustrative (3D) Test Procedures
Create and maintain test equipment BOMs, schematics, technical drawings
Produce Risk Assessments, maintenance/calibration plans and trouble shoot guides
Assemble hardware to specification and then test and debug it
Provide technical support to Production, Quality & TPM teams
Involvement with report / data generation process for R&D and manufacturing

Electronics Development Engineer - Skills and Abilities - Electronics / Hardware / BOM / Test Engineer / Design / Electrical & Electronic / Testing

Competent in building, testing, debugging and working with analogue and digital electronics hardware
Experience of building, testing and working with electrical and mechanical assemblies
Ability to understand electronic circuit schematics and the basic function of standard components
Ability to produce documentation of test hardware, software and processes
Excellent computer literacy, particularly with MS Office apps Excel, Word and Outlook
