Financial Accountant

Temporary - ASAP start for a minimum of 3 months

Haywards Heath - Hybrid working

Up to £24.45 per hour
Are you available immediately and looking for the chance to work for a business that will make a difference?


We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to start a temporary role, starting as soon as possible, for a period of at least 3 months (could be longer).

This position can be hybrid working partly from their lovely head offices near Haywards Heath. The role is a 35-hour week, working Monday to Friday, 7 hours a day.


In this role you will be a key member of the team, where you will be managing the banking and cash function, overseeing 2 Finance Assistants, and generally providing support of the management of the financial processing.


Day to day duties may include:

  • Support the management of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed assets functions.
  • Providing support to users of the Financial Systems
  • Overseeing the financial processing including policies and procedures
  • Managing the banking and cash functions, ensuring that VAT is corrected in line with the balance sheets
  • Supporting the Head of Finance with other duties where required


To be considered for this role you will need strong, similar experience, have experienced in team management, strong IT skills and ideally (but not essential) be Qualified in ACCA or similar.
