This is an exciting time to join our Hotel team, as we prepare for Birmingham to host the Commonwealth Games and we embark on our five-year vision to be a world-leading hospitality destination.

We are looking for a number of motivated Housekeeping Assistants to join our successful and professional housekeeping team. You will be responsible for providing clean and well-maintained public areas and guest bedrooms throughout the hotel.

Your duties will include:

Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and service within guest bedrooms and public areas, adhering to the specified standards and timeframes.
Cleaning and laundering in all relevant areas, including blinds, curtains, bed covers, duvets, carpets and furniture.
Ensuring all equipment is in a safe condition.
Following the correct usage and storage of all chemicals, materials and equipment, in accordance with COSHH regulations.
Keeping the stock rooms tidy and reporting any stock shortages.
Professionally and proactively dealing with any guest queries.

As a Housekeeping Assistant you must be able to demonstrate the highest standards of work and attention to detail and have a genuine desire to put the guest at the heart of everything you do.
