Resolve Recruitment are delighted to be working with a dynamic and forward-thinking insurer who have an exciting opportunity available for a Deputy Team Leader to join their fast-paced claims division.

Successful applicants must have previous motor claims experience.


This role offers the opportunity to join an established team and is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career.


Purpose of the Role:

  • Facilitate the training and integration of new handlers (with or without prior insurance experience) into the business.
  • To lead a team of new handlers to develop them to deliver first class quality and liability claims handling.
  • Optimise claims portfolio management to mitigate lifecycles and average claims costs.
  • Development of team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for team's performance against set objectives.
  • Performance management of staff, dealing with all aspects of people management including quality auditing, absence, holidays and time management, monthly one to one's, performance reviews, training and development, disciplinary procedures and staff welfare.
  • Maximise the imparting of technical knowledge to the team by way of mentoring and coaching.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Keep abreast of relevant technical and market developments.
  • Effectively communicate through engagement and collaboration with team members and the wider business.
  • Assist with Adhoc tasks as the business needs dictate.

£26,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
