Crown Worldwide Group currently has an opening for a Storeman to join our Operations team based at our Crown Workspace depot in Manchester.**
The Storeman position
is a permanent position offering a competitive pay depending on skills and experience. The role is dual purpose appointment undertaking warehouse duties whilst supporting our expanding road crew.**

Crown Worldwide Group currently has an opening for a: Storeman

Location:
Manchester


Principle Objective:


Based at our growing Manchester depot, you will be responsible for the storage and warehousing of clients items, ensuring all documentation and itemisation procedures are followed.

With the expansion of our Workspace division, you will be supporting our road crews driving 3.5t vehicles to business throughout the UK.


In addition, promote and cross sell other Crown WW service offerings, making key qualified appointments for other sales experts to attend and prospect including Crown Workspace, World Mobility, Crown Fine Art, Crown Relocations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Inventory of inbound and outbound storage items.
  • Reach Fork Lift truck duties.
  • Ensure documentation procedures are followed and kept up to date
  • Support the road crew undertaking 3.5t driving duties throughout the UK
  • Additional porting duties on site will be required from time to time including manual handling of bulky heavy office furniture and equipment.
  • Dealing with web orders
  • Loading items to and from storage containers and vehicles.
  • Weekend duties and flexible hours will be required where necessary.
  • Defect reporting on warehouse equipment and 3.5t vehicles.

Skills/ Experience:


  • Experience in General warehouse duties and procedures
  • Good understanding of basic computer skills
  • UK Driving License
  • Work in a fastpaced environment
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
  • Good interpersonal skills able to build and maintain relationships at all levels
