FCAS Security - Senior Professional for Governance, Risk and Assurance

What you'll be doing:
- Reducing the FCAS Programme's exposure to holistic security risks (spanning the cyber, physical, personnel, operational, supply chain domains) and ensuring that decisionmaking for security is evidencedriven, riskbased and accountable
- Implementing and evolving the systems and processes required to ensure that Future Combat Air Security (FCAS) programme security controls are threat
- Inspecting, reviewing and reporting compliance with relevant security legislation, regulation, policy and standards
- Line managing and coordinating work of one other team member
- Coordinating and partnering with BAE Group and Air Sector colleagues, industry partners and government departments, and using industry best practice, to drive the modernisation and improvement of FCAS Programme security risk management
- Leading and driving the improvement and digitalisation of FCAS Security GRA and will work with colleagues in Group and Sector to mature team workflows and processes
- Deputising for the Senior Lead for Governance, Risk and Assurance
- Undertaking regular travel across the UK
Your skills and experiences:
- Leadership and management skills, ideally with previous experience in a security setting
- Significant relevant experience in some or all of risk management, strategic risk assessment, regulatory compliance and security assurance
- Programme and/or Project Management skills including organisational governance design and delivery
- Ability to significantly contribute to development of policy and ways of working
- Ideally, experience of using JIRA and Confluence for reporting and coordination and any bespoke risk management software

The FCAS Security Team:
This team is a holistic security team designed to be able to tackle current and future threats to our programme, people and capabilities.
We are investing in a new and innovative approach to security and this new team is looking to develop BAE's new approach to multinational, highly sensitive and critical military programmes.
