Description

DevOps Engineer | AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, GitlabCI | UK Remote or Oxford | Up to £80k

It's not often I get to work with a company who can confidently say they are doing something no one else in the world has managed.

That's exactly what this incredible BioTech have achieved.

Making use of cutting edge computer vision and machine learning, their ground-breaking solutions are revolutionising the healthcare industry, helping deliver safer patient care, recognising early warning signs and freeing up time for where it's needed most.

They have secured over a dozen patents for their technology and have seen it implemented in sites across the UK with huge success.

They have also recently received FDA approval and are set to launch in the USA, so they have a very exciting year ahead.

As they scale their operations globally, they are looking for a forward thinking and ambitious DevOps Engineer to introduce a strong DevOps mindset across their teams.

It's a fantastic opportunity to take what they already have and mould it to your vision, updating, modernising and amending to what you know works best.

You will be supported by 4 other DevOps Engineers, although you will be taking the lead when it comes to the decision making.

There is also plenty of room for career progression, and if you are looking for more management responsibilities, there is an optionto bring these Engineers into a team which you will run.

Most importantly, you help to build a great development culture, solving key problems, whilst thinking forwards to what may be needed in the future.

On the technical side you will need:

  • Experience with AWS
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (they currently use Terraform, Chef and Ansible)
  • Containerisation (They are currently using Nomad, but would love someone with strong K8s knowledge to introduce it into the stack and migrate them over)
  • CI/CD (they are using GitlabCI)
  • Linux

In return you get the opportunity to work in a close knit and entrepreneurial team, creating something that genuinely has never been done before.

Not only that, you'll also get great holiday and pension, plus private healthcare, fully remote working, lifeassurance and flexible working hours.
