Description

This is a high-profile role for an inspirational individual, supporting a high-growth business in the field of residential property management.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring we have the capacity and capability to grow, whilst keeping our values and culture alive, underpinned by a high performing team and effective HR policies and procedures.


Reporting to the People Director, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of the Talent Team, ER function and Generalist HR.

You will closely partner the Head of Learning & Culture to manage the HRBPs within the business, whilst collaborating with our management teams and employees to implement people strategies that ensure our colleagues want to '_stay and grow with us_.

What will you deliver?

Strategic Partner and Adviser: Partnership approach sharing expertise with the Senior Management team and the business, underpinning strategically critical initiatives.

Leadership of the HR Team: Define and support the teams agenda around key HR processes, well-being initiatives and compensation and benefit management.

Leadership of the Talent Team: Support the in-house recruitment team to be able to sufficiently plan ahead and meet business needs, successfully recruiting and onboarding talent nationally.

Performance Management: Partner the Head of Learning & Culture to embed the performance management framework, 'Be Incredible.'

Employee Relations: To oversee the caseload, ensuring a fair and robust approach, whilst personally managing complex issues. Guide our managers and leaders to become more self-sufficient, without compromising legal compliance.

HR Policies, Processes & Systems: Define and maintain key policies and processes, with the urbanbubble culture and tone shining through, in full regulatory compliance.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Champion diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives to create a workplace that values and nurtures individual differences and underpins the ESG agenda.

System and Data: Implement and maintain HR-related KPIs and share data with the business at regular points to support robust decision-making.

Organisational Design: To ensure structures remain streamlined and effective, aligned internally and able to support customer needs and growth.

Finance: Define and manage the departmental budget, ensuring it is fully understood at a team level and all work towards it.

The Employee Experience:Consider the customer journey, cradle to grave, and how we make it unique and rewarding at every touchpoint. Specifically, identify ways to improve attraction and retention.


What are we looking for?

  • Experience working within a complex and national customercentric business
  • Experience strategically driving and implementing change at pace; Talent and performance management, Organisational design, Culture & engagement, Health & Wellbeing etc
  • Experience working with Executive Directors and Senior Leaders, wellversed in influencing and handling challenge
  • Experience coaching leaders to deliver effective people solutions
  • Commercially savvy
  • Excellent knowledge in employment law, HR policy and best practice
  • MCIPD or Level 7 CIPD accredited ideally
  • A strong and articulate communicator, with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, standard company IT systems
  • Knowledgeable and understanding of HR systems and their importance in delivering accurate, reliable data to the business
  • Passionate for continuous improvement, with demonstrable experience
The role is based in Manchester at our offices in the Northern Quarter and we offer hybrid working
