Description

An exciting new position is now available at DeNovo Healthcare in our orthotic workshop assisting in the manufacture of a wide range of medical devices.

Working with industry leading CAD software and large-scale CAM equipment, you will be involved with boththe design and manufacture of bespoke orthotic products as well as working with other staff in the production of a large variety of orthopaedic devices from specialist footwear adaptation to carbon fibre orthoses.


This is a developmental role and full training will be provided in all required areas including: CAD/CAM software and hardware, understanding technical and medical terminology, working with both manual and power tools within the orthopaedic industry andmuch more.

Upon successful completion of the training period, this position will provide the opportunity to progress within DeNovo.


To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Have a good general level of computer literacy
  • Be comfortable with using both manual tools (knives, scalpels etc) and Power tools (Sanding bands, drills etc)
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Have GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English, Maths and Biology
  • Live within commuting distance of our location in Cheddar, Somerset
