Technical Customer Services Advisor

£23-£25k dependent of Engineering knowledge

Baseline recruit is working with a dynamic, growing and highly successful business in the Leicestershire in supporting the recruitment of a Technical Customer Services Advisor on a permanent basis.


Key duties and responsibilities:


  • Be the main point for Technical advice for all stakeholders
  • Work with the wider customer services team to deliver technical advice and solutions
  • Progress chase all queries whilst keeping the customer informed throughout
  • Ensure all administration is completed to a high level
  • Use the database systems and technology to deliver great customer service
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned by Customer Service Manager
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required
  • Ensure the Company position is robustly explained to customers
  • Implement the Company returns and warranty processes
  • Identify and highlight opportunities to enhance the Customer Experience
  • Strive to achieve outcomes that are mutually understood by the Company and the Customer

In order to be considered for this role you will have:

  • Wide ranging technical knowledge including Mechanical and Electrical engineering
  • Experience dealing directly with individual customers by phone to give technical advice
  • Comfortable in looking through technical drawings to identify faults and offer solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
- both written and verbal

  • MS Office and other CRM system experience
