Finance Manager | Housing Association | Greater Manchester | 12 month FTC


Castlefield Recruitment are working with a community focussed housing association in order to recruit a Finance Manager on an initial 12 month contract.


Role:

Working closely with the Assistant Director of Finance you will be responsible for

Responsibilities;

  • Maintaining financial systems, records and management to ensure the organisation's accounts are compliant
  • Assisting with the preparation of the final accounts and liaising with internal and external auditors
  • Assisting with long term financial planning, cash flow management and VAT compliance
  • Implementing improvements on an ongoing basis to improve efficiency across finance
  • Managing budgets and planning process, ensuring all budgets are accounted for accurately and adequate controls are in place
**Person:

The successful Accountant will be**:

  • CCAB/CIMA qualified or QBE
  • Fixed assets, business planning or year end experience would be beneficial
  • Social housing experience would be beneficial, but not essential
