Finance Manager | Housing Association | Greater Manchester | 12 month FTC
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a community focussed housing association in order to recruit a Finance Manager on an initial 12 month contract.
Role:
Working closely with the Assistant Director of Finance you will be responsible for
Responsibilities;
- Maintaining financial systems, records and management to ensure the organisation's accounts are compliant
- Assisting with the preparation of the final accounts and liaising with internal and external auditors
- Assisting with long term financial planning, cash flow management and VAT compliance
- Implementing improvements on an ongoing basis to improve efficiency across finance
- Managing budgets and planning process, ensuring all budgets are accounted for accurately and adequate controls are in place
The successful Accountant will be**:
- CCAB/CIMA qualified or QBE
- Fixed assets, business planning or year end experience would be beneficial
- Social housing experience would be beneficial, but not essential
